AT and physio are very similar in our practice. Our physiotherapist  treats one to one with all patients for the duration of the booking.  Both AT and PT at Fortius are hands on and heavily based in manual therapy, meaning we don't just put machines on you and walk away.  The primary difference in this clinic is insurance billing.  Not all insurance covers AT,  however, most cover physio to the specified limits. Athletic Therapy is an active form of rehab for muscle, bone or joint based injuries.  We don't just treat athletes but anyone who is looking is looking to move and feel better.  We use a variety of techniques to help you on the path to wellness from cupping to dynamic taping to Graston and more.

Generally speaking if you are in pain and don't know why we recommend that you start with an assessment with an AT or Physio, they can then plan your treatment path the most beneficial way.  If you are looking for pain relief for an existing issue, massage and acupuncture are a great place to start.   At Fortius we really believe in a team environment so we will get you to the practitioner that suits you best.
