Karla Skog BKin, RMT, CAT(C), CSCS, FRR, FRCms

I have been an Athletic Therapist over 25 years.I am also  a registered massage therapist and strength and conditioning coach.The unique blend of 3 integrated skill sets has created a totally specialized experience within the rehabilitation spectrum. I love what I do and strive to create a positive experience for each of my patients every time they book in.  My specialty is soft tissue therapy and correcting movement dysfunctions.  I have special interest in headache/neck treatments. Sessions with me center around deep tissue work, movement assessments and active rehab planning. In the summer time I work predominantly with CFL players so my schedule can be limited.

Charlotte Van Audenrode BSc Kin, MPT, CAT(C), ATC

Charlotte is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Registered Physiotherapist.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McGill University, an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University, and a Masters of Physiotherapy from The University of Sydney. 


Charlotte also loves working sports and being on sidelines for teams. She has years of experience providing training and match day coverage, having worked with rugby union, hockey, lacrosse and AFL teams across all age groups and levels; from recreational to national teams. 


Charlotte has a keen interest in concussions and believes in the importance of a global approach to treatment to any type of injuries or conditions. She is constantly researching and studying to improve her knowledge and skill set. She is trained in Kinesio taping, Clinical Pilates, and Graston Techniques. 


Outside of work, Charlotte is usually trying to get ready for long distance running or triathlon races or simply enjoying being out in nature.

Charne Goosen BKin, CAT(C), FRCms

Charné is an Athletic Therapist who works with athletes and non-athletes to help them get back to what they love. She believes that building a foundation is key to rehabilitating any injury and has a special interest in concussions and functional movement patterns.  Charne has worked with many hockey teams, football and lacrosse.  Charne excels at solving complex postural issues in her patients.  Charne is certified as a FRC ms practitioner and applies those principles to all her patients with outstanding success.  Book in today to learn about FRC and how it can benefit you today

Nicole Ainsworth BKin, CAT(C)

I have been an Athletic Therapist for over 15 years and in that time I have worked with Athletes of all ages and levels of competition. I also enjoy working with the general population, and helping to keep them healthy and active. My passion in the clinic is soft tissue work, as well as well as the pelvis and how it connects the whole body. I love to continue learning and growing my skills as a therapist, and I happily pursue continuing education courses to further this goal.  


I also love to work in the field, and can often be found on the sidelines of a football or rugby game. I have worked with Rugby Canada for the last 10 years and was head therapist for the Women's 15's at the last Women's Rugby World Cup in Dublin. I have also work with Ernest Manning High School for the last 3 years. I am the medical coordinator for many Calgary Rugby clubs as well as Rugby Alberta.

Kelsey Miller BSc Kin, RMT

Kelsey believes that leading a healthy lifestyle includes regularly taking care of your body with various manual therapies. Kelsey Graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, and she went on to working as a kinesiologist in a physiotherapy clinic and personal trainer for several years. Kelsey enjoys working with people to rehabilitate their body to recover from injuries, get back to sport and to live pain free. To do this she wanted to be able to provide more hands on techniques to compliment the exercises. Kelsey has since graduated from the Alberta college of Massage therapy as registered 2200 hour massage therapist, and has joined Fortius Rehabilitation Systems to offer her years of knowledge and massage skills to complement and work with the existing therapists and clinicians, to provide comprehensive services to clients.


Whether your need is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension, work on an injury, or attain relief from chronic pain, Kelsey can tailor a massage to your specific needs.

Sarah Scott BHPE-AT, CAT(C)

Sarah is a recent graduate of the Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University. 


She uses a variety of soft tissue techniques as well as supplemental exercises and modalities to create a well-rounded treatment. 


Sarah has an interest in cervical spine dysfunction.


She has experience working on the field with football, rugby, soccer, and hockey athletes of many ages.

Lisa van Gisbergen

  

Lisa is an experienced Pilates Instructor, with over a decade of experience teaching groups and working one-on-one with clients in both a fitness and clinical setting.  Trained in FRC, FRA and Kinstretch, Lisa applies mobility training in combination with Pilates, or as a sole method in helping every client build a body that can handle all the activities they love.  

Lisa has experience working with clientele from varying backgrounds:  

  • Physio referrals: back      pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, osteoporosis, hip pain, MS, fibromyalgia,      plantar fasciitis, 
  • VVIP clientele: absolute      discretion.
  • General Population and      weekend warriors: People generally enduring some sort of nagging pain, but      motivated by the benefits a consistent Pilates/mobility practice has on      enabling them to perform the activities they are passionate about. 
  • People who want to get      their asses kicked by an intense Pilates workout.  

To date Lisa has expanded her training in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Copenhagen, Vienna, Milan, Toronto, Calgary, Rome, New York, Washington, Chicago and online.

Tella Reimer

 Tella graduated with her Doctorate of Traditional Chinese

Medicine and Acupuncture in the fall of 2021, after completing her

4 year training all through CITCM here in Calgary. She has

completed over 1400 clinic hours in her school, as well as

volunteered at the Drop In, and Alex centres.

Tella is trained and proficient in Orthopedic Message Therapy,

Reflexology, Guasha (also known as Graston-Scraping

technique), Acupuncture, cosmetic (facial) acupuncture, herbal

recommendations and Cupping.

Tella notes, that the benefits of Acupuncture, guasha and cupping,

and has experienced its effectiveness in the treatment for

reducing stress, pain, insomnia, gynecology, digestive issues and

many many more. Although she finds her passion is more in

sports medicine, she is also expressed interest in acupuncture for

mental health, depression and anxiety.

Tella has two step children in her life in which she has learned the

art of practicing the wonders of acupuncture on little minds,

mastering her technique to make it as gentle and painless as

possible while also gaining the trust of little people.

She feels strongly that many people can be healthier with

acupuncture and Chinese medicine, especially during these

stressful times.

She looks forward to being able to work with you to improve your

We specialize in post surgical rehabilitation. We are not a AHS clinic for the initial services but work closely with many of Calgary's top surgeons to get you back to your activity as soon as possible
